For hair and makeup, aim for a polished version of your natural look—something that feels like you, just a little elevated. Soft, glowy makeup photographs beautifully, and a bit of extra definition on the eyes and lips goes a long way on camera. For hair, loose waves, a simple braid, or a relaxed updo always complement that effortless, romantic vibe. Avoid heavy powders or dramatic changes to your usual style. The goal is to feel confident, comfortable, and like your best self—because when you feel good, it shows in every photo!

WEAR
Stick to neutral, earthy tones and soft textures that feel timeless and natural-think creams, tans, rust, olive, or dark soft blues. Coordinate without matching, choose outfits you feel comfortable and confident in, and add simple layers or accessories for personality. Avoid bright colors, logos, or anything too busy. Most importantly, wear something that feels like you—when you're comfortable, the genuine moments shine through. If you're unsure, bring options and I’m always happy to help style you!
Time &
LOCATION
The best time for your engagement photos is during golden hour—that dreamy light just after sunrise or before sunset that gives everything a soft, romantic glow. I’ll help you choose the perfect time based on the season and location. Speaking of locations, think about spots that feel meaningful or match your vibe—whether it’s desert views, forest trails, a cozy studio, or an open field. I’ve got a list of favorite places and hidden gems, so if you’re unsure, I’ll guide you to a spot that fits your story and complements your style perfectly!
When should we book?
Most couples book 9-12 months out, but if your date’s open then I’m in!
When do we get our photos?
Sneak peeks within 1.5 weeks, full gallery in 12 weeks.
Do you travel?
Yes! Travel across Arizona is included in select collections. I’m always up for destination weddings- just ask!

NEXT STEPS are simple. After you let me know you would like to move forward, I begin to set you up with booking and a client portal that helps us stay organized until your day finally arrives. It will include an online contract, questionnaire, access to your invoice, and more.
Many of my couples love to schedule a meeting by phone or in-person for the opportunity to meet, ask questions, and tell me all about your wedding details so far!
